The Angolan Commission has a long tradition of showcasing and promoting the best of local gastronomy and produce at international exhibitions. This year, under the theme of Connecting with traditions to innovate, we invite visitors to join us on a journey of discovery of Angola through our ancestral cuisine.

Led by our innovative Executive Chef Rui Sá, our team is passionate and values provenance. We are proud of the return of humble, ‘feel-good’ dishes to be offered at the Tapas Bar contrasting with high-end fusion cuisine at our Fine Dining restaurant.

Visitors will experience a tantalising array of colours, smells and flavours, seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, and mouth-watering seafood sourced from our local farmers and producers. We aim to deliver some of the farm-fresh produce coming directly from the different regions in Angola.


Our Tapas Bar (Snacking In) is a casual cool setting, reimagining the street food from the continent where traditional flavours meets the best of modern Angolan inspired dishes.

Open 7 days a week, the Tapas Bar is ideal for the whole family, offering affordable breakfast, lunch and dinner, while delighting visitors with Brunch on special occasions.

You are welcomed into a  vibrant place where tourists and professionals alike can come for lunch or early dinner or even snap a roasted plantain with tea in the morning. Organic and fresh natural juices and some alcoholic options will be paired with a unique tapas menu, inviting  visitors to share their food stories on our communal seating if they wish.

Our brigade of storytellers in the kitchen will execute to perfection the presented menu and will create interesting specials. Portions will be modestly sized, garnished with stunning presentation. Prices will be competitive with other upscale restaurants at the Expo2020.

For those that would like to extend their experience, our delicious food and produce from Angola and merchandise will be available in the convenience of their homes (collection and home delivery).

MUYOMBO Fine Dining

Here we will take our guests on a journey of flavors, rooted in traditional home cooking where Angolan culture is experienced through the richness of its unique culinary traditions.

Open 5 days a week from 12pm serving our A La Carte Menu it will be the perfect place for a special event/function or for a small business meeting.

A key source of revenue for the restaurant will be the Private Bookings (Fine Dining Set Menus, birthdays, meetings), Bespoke Seasonal Events (Independence Days, African related celebrations, Dinners for delegations) and Dining Experiences such as our unique dining experience Taste Black History with international guest chefs.

The restaurant will feature exotic cocktails on a separate menu. Alcoholic drinks will be featured, as well as a large non-alcoholic selection.

This venue will also host weekly events and outside the busy hours, guests can join us for special events such as tasting sessions for small groups with the aim to educate guests about the country’s richness of its produce and drinks.
